- How do we protect and safeguard personal data in relation to the Lead MSE wbesite:
- Webservers are hosted in Europe and secured by the Internet webserver provider OVH.
- In order to protect personal data, we put a number of technical and organisational measures in place. Technical measures include appropriate actions to address online security, risk of data loss, alteration of data or unauthorised access, taking into consideration the risk presented by the processing and the nature of the personal data being processed. Organisational measures include restricting access to the personal data solely to authorised persons with a legitimate need to know for the purposes of this processing operation.
- Access to personal data:
- is not given to third parties external to Lead MSE core partnership
- may be authorised to Lead MSE core partners in terms of animation and management of the activities they responsible of (like implementation of eLearning sessions) or to the Coordination team of the Lead MSE project for contractual obligations for instance.
- Any concerned person by the data collected within the Lead MSE website context has specific rights as a ‘data subject’ under Chapter III (Articles 14-25) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, in particular the right to access, rectify or erase his/her personal data and the right to restrict the processing of his/her personal data. Where applicable, he/she also has the right to object to the processing or the right to data portability. The person can exercise his/her rights by contacting the Data Protection Manager. Where the person wishes to exercise his/her rights in the context of one or several specific activities indicated here after, the person should provide their description in his/her request.
- Remark: in case a person is involved in in activity financially supported by the European Union for the Lead MSE project (or is involved in a contractual relationaship with the Lead MSE partners) and wants the related personal data to be forgotten, that information will be removed when possible (if not linked to contracual obligation). In case the data are contractually binding, the Lead MSE partners will look at the possibility to anonymise the data (fully/partly) or at the possibility of replacing the person by another contractually binding person at his/her organisation replacing him/her.

Data recorded after a user participates to Pilot seminars or to the e-Learning modules:
Results or statistical elements are recorded based on the participations to the pilot seminars or the e-Learning modules. You may request to delete the personal side of the data, but due to contractual commitments with the funding sources of the European Commission, some data may be retained until the end of the possible auditing period (5 years after the end of the analysis of the final report of the grant contract). In any case, the personal data are not provided to commercial third party.
Data recorded for the participation to events organised by the Lead MSE project:
Participation to Lead MSE events fiancially supported by the European Union imply the obligation of reporting and presentation of results at the Lead MSE project level. As a consequence, publication of participant lists (without email addresses or phone number) and/or of pictures may take place on the Lead MSE website. In case of request by a user, we will do our best to anonymise the corresponding online information (but in any case, the paper version of the reporting elements for the contractual obligations may remain at the level of the data manged by the Coordinator of the Lead MSE project).
